Independent Research
- I am interested in the evolution of Russia's soft power strategies since the invasion of Ukraine in February, 2022. My Advanced Integrated Studies project includes a website documenting my research, ongoing site visits, and interviews. In May, I will present my research to the community in an academic forum at my high school.

- I enjoy taking on complex ideas, exploring multidisciplinary concepts, and sharing my work with others.
- Languages and cultures fascinate me. I speak Spanish and English. I am taking Russian II with One World Now-STARTALK.

Soft Power Evaluation Framework
- The Soft Power Evaluation Framework focuses on the intersection of disinformation and soft power. Specifically, it aims to identify the degree to which sites of soft power from Russia are coercive.
- I developed the concept, planned each component, and designed the visual interface. further created the categories that equal a single metric. I also researched examples for the case studies. I used AI to code the app.
M-Box Maker
- After taking a course in Social Entrepreneurship over the summer, I learned about the importance of social-impact initiatives and how to develop a project that benefits society.
- I designed mboxmaker.com based on my interest in traditional art and handiwork from Russia.
- My idea was to make an App where traditional Russian arts enthusiasts could learn about the history and significance of Russian arts and crafts, as well as how to create them.
- I also designed an interactive, social component so that users could learn the craft together while practicing Russian or English.
- My inspiration for this project came from two apps I enjoy using, Pinterest and Duolingo.
- I created the App's visual concept, interface, layout, functionality, and user experience. I also researched and connected photos of traditional art forms. Additionally, I found and linked the sites for museums, so that users could see examples of the artwork. I used AI to code the app.

- I enjoy the process of working on a creation and seeing it through to completion.
- Fabric arts, painting, ceramics, and costume design are my favorite mediums.
